• How do I get started with Golden Web Design?

First you will submit a list of features you want on your site.  We will then review your request and give you a FREE quote. When a price is in agreement, we will write up a contract.  When you've signed the contract, and paid the upfront deposit, we will start working on the project.  For smaller projects, we can get started without the formal agreement by considering your email request as binding agreement.

Projects > $2,000
A deposit of 25% is required before the work is started and 50% upon half completion and the rest 25% has to be paid after checking the demo on Golden Web Design servers.
Projects < $2,000,
50% of the project cost is needed. The remaining 50% payment is paid after the work is finished and you see the demo.

 We are also open to work on the clients' servers directly, but the full payment should be made by the time project reaches 75% completion.

• How much does a Website cost? 

It depends on what you are trying to accomplish and time it takes to develop; for example: if you need a simple design with a  Contact Us, About Us, Services, etc,. up to 10 pages, we can deliver that within 7 business days for under $1000. The price also depends on the type of design so Flash, Flex, graphics or animations can be a bit more expensive.

When you need Programming or SEO or Marketing, we charge $25 per hour. If you have a list of features you want, we can give an exact price quote and time-line. More than 90% of our projects are done with all the features, at an accepted price.

• Do I need a Web Developer or a Web Designer?

This is the most common question asked by clients. Most web designers can only design a web site with some basic functional programming, such as: a Contact Us form or Newsletter Script. If you are looking for options like creating login and storing the users’ details; creating or editing Categories/Sub-categories or articles with a CMS (Content Management System); Image/Video upload; E-commerce etc., you will need a Programmer/Developer.
