There are 3 ways for using video on your Website:

1. Simply upload your videos to YouTube or a similar video server and copy the embedded code onto your Web Site. This saves time, money, and eliminates the headache of developing your own video player or encoder.

2. If you want to have your own brand, you must have your own video player.  A free open source player will do. Upload your videos to the server and covert them into FLV format by using an encoder application. If your shared hosting does not support this, you need to convert the videos to FLV format in your local machine and upload them to server. This option works well if you only have a few videos that you want to upload yourself.

3. If you want to maintain a professional video Upload Site like YouTube, you will need a dedicated server and an encoder to convert the videos to a specific format. There are many types of dedicated servers available with different RAM, capacity, bandwidth, etc.  This option allows your Web site users to upload videos to a branded video player.  Advertisers are VERY interested in advertising on well-maintained Web sites with personalized video players
