elearning Web Design, Development and Marketing

Golden Web Design have a great deal of experience developing e-learning websites. We've integrated Joomla with Moodle to develop an e-learning system that allows easier and more efficient course maintenance so that it can fit into the daily routines of a school, college or university. One of the main things this has achieved is the use of something called LDAP.  LDAP stands for Light weight Directory Access Protocol, which might sound like a load of nonsence, but what this means is that you can login to your computer network as normal, and then directly edit the pages of your intranet, internet or Moodle system without any further login requests or data access configuration. Even better, so can the students.  As soon as they're logged in, they can get straight into their work area without having to have extra passwords to remember. All they need is their normal network login that they have already.  So many teachers have commented on how much time and effort this feature alone saves them.

The use of Joomla has allowed us some extra flexibility where Moodle suffered. In Joomla, it's simple to install, uninstall and even move components from system to other. This makes it really easy for us to develop new courses, timetable systems, attendance registers and certification components without even having to make a visit. It can all be managed remotely. We have loads more ideas for future systems to make classrooms function more efficiently, but if you've thought of something you'd really like for your classroom, why not let us know about it? We love to hear new ideas, and we can even build something specific for you.
